A HISTORY OF 50 Mhz FROM THE UK.
This page I intend to be a history of 50 Mhz from
the UK since at least 1986, and I hope very much to get info prior to this
date.
These are extracts from my log but include all
other info I have to give a true picture of what occurred. Where I can
I have given the known dates of legal operation. See Firsts page. This
shows graphically the build up in Europe of 50 Mhz activity - much helped
by the activities of the UKSMG.
It is eye-opening to go through back issues of
Six news, VHF/UHF newsletter etc. where most of the info has come from.
This is a "bare bones" list - can any of you
add more to flesh it out - particularly from the pre 1986 era -and more
importantly from the 1947/8 and 1956/7 eras.
